Central, family-run hotel in center of Athens
Marina Hotel Athens, a family-owned and run hotel with a friendly and warm atmosphere, features 81 rooms with air conditioning, direct-dial phone, satellite television, and mini-bar. Thanks to a recent renovation the three-star hotel reflects the art and tradition of ancient Athens. Guests enjoy convenient access to the center of Athens and a Metro station, as well as to archaeological sites, shops, and other attractions.

It was here where the foundation of democracy were initially laid.

The place was fair. The plus was the price and the distance to important places. I would recomend to stay in Pireaus though, higher quality hotels with safer area.

Crime Victim
Dangerous area!
The hotel was fine. Rooms were small and utilitarian but perfectly functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful and generally spoke English very well. However, the area was very scuzzy. It was full of illegal immigrants (and a few hookers) and my husband's wallet was stolen by a pickpocket minutes after leaving the nearby subway. All of the natives we spoke to said this was a very bad area of town. You can get a comparable hotel in better areas. Don't stay here.

Long walk from hotel
Acropolis/Parthenon. In spite of the scaffolding it made the trip worth while. The Acropolis Museum was just as spectacular.

Nice and small hotel, rooms have recently renovated. The room was small, but with everything needed. I was only at an unfortunate time in the hotel: a building next door was built, and my room on the first floor was facing the construction. No light, no possibility to open the window, constructions started early in the morning. There was also a school class in the hotel, taking breakfast at the same time, so I had to queue up for the breakfast. Breakfast was simple, but everything what I needed. Otherwise a nice economy hotel. Only the area of the hotel was not nice at all, very run down. Nevertheless in walking distance of the major tourist places. Staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English.

W hotelu wszystko jest dobre lub
W hotelu wszystko jest dobre lub bardzo dobre. Lokalizacja tez - blisko waznych punktow Aten, ale ulica bardzo niebezpieczna. Nie ma mowy o powrocie do hotelu po zapadnieciu zmroku. Tylko taxi.

Hôtel très bon rapport qualité/prix.
Hôtel très bon rapport qualité/prix. Chambre spacieuse, salle de bains avec baignoire, frigo, clim,... Hôtel propre, accueil chaleureux. Petit déjeuner à volonté. Métro proche, près de tous les points d'intérêts. Le seul point négatif est l'emplacement de l'hôtel qui est dans un quartier très mal fréquenté.

El hotel es espectacular. todo muy bien lamentablemente esta en un sector que a simple vista parece muy malo. pero a nosotros no nos paso nada.

Сам отель очень понравился. Комнаты чистые, уютные, персонал приветлив и доброжелателен. Завтрак на неплохом уровне. Отель расположен недалеко от станции Омония, однако район расположения вызывает негативную реакцию. Очень много арабов и негров, по вечерам шумно, улица грязная, прилегающие дома обшарпаны. Возвращаться вечером в отель страшно.

Très près d'Omonia et hotel permet
Très près d'Omonia et hotel permet d'atteindre à pied en moins de trente minutes les lieux touristiques d'Athènes. Ilot de tranquilité dans un quartier vivant mais qui gagnerait à être un peu mieux entretenu. Une adresse à conseiller cependant.
