bait and switch

Did not get the room I paid for. Paid for an executive suite with a view for me and my wife. It also included wifi in the room. I got a 3 single bed room with a view of the laundry room and a trash dump. Wifi would only work if I took 3 steps outside my door. We also had a cat in our balcony making noise all night. I spoke to management about it and all I got was excuses and they said the fact that I got a 3 bed room should be make up for all of it. Bad experience all around. The neighborhood was very scary at night.

!!!LISTEN!!!!!! Bad area of Town

This is NOT a safe area of Athens. The place was crawling with drug users and theives. Avoid at all costs. The room itself was okay but the wifi barely worked in the room I was in and the staff would not help my friend change rooms even though they were able. But the key point is that the area is not safe. Pay extra to stay near the Acropolis. It is safer and you can just leave your hotel and walk around the nice areas of the city. You have been warned.

Great hotel in central situation

The staff were very helpful and the place was well looked-after. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked. Breakfast was a good spread, and a nice room to eat it in. Handy for Omonia Square and metro, not far from fantastic central market and about 20 minutes walk from Syntagma. Are around hotel is pretty down-at-heel, but the hotel itself is well looked after and safe, as well as being excellent value. Recommended for value and friendliness especially.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Amazing experience is the central market, with a fantastic range of meat and fish, and also fruit and veg in its own nearby market. A real insight into Greek culture and Athenian life

Cheap, good location

I was rather looking forward to taking my wife through this, as described, terrible area with drug users shooting up. Sadly it was a bit run down but that was as exciting as it got. Hotel is ridiculously cheap, good location if you want the metro (it's a 10 min walk to Omonia metro) and not too far from Yiantes (great Greek restaurant). We booked this as we had a 7am ferry the next morning and just needed somewhere to crash. Run by a guy who used to live in Tooting. Really friendly.

Bad area!!!!

The area the hotel is at is BAD!!! Right outside the hotel doorway there were drug users shooting up heroin. If I knew this area was this bad I would have never booked this hotel for my family.

Nice place

The place was fair. The plus was the price and the distance to important places. I would recomend to stay in Pireaus though, higher quality hotels with safer area.
