Bugs in the Bed

Unfortunately our stay at this hotel was marred by insects in the bed that bit and caused inflammation to my girlfriends arms and legs. My girlfriend arrived the night before me and had no sleep on the first night when this occurred. She notified the staff after taking pictures of the bugs and showed them to the staff in the early hours of the morning. They moved her to a new room and apologised for the inconvenience. Once I arrived the next day, it was a complete write off as she had had no sleep and was completely exhausted having flown in from overseas. The staff promised that they would write an email to me to resolve the situation, but that was 5 days ago and as yet we have heard nothing. They have our money, so I guess that is the most important thing!!

Perfect get-away

This was a fantastic hotel - my daughter and I were looking for the perfect place to enjoy our first visit to Athens. The hotel was charming and quaint and located very near all the important areas. The breakfast was the best - located on the top floor with a view of the acropolis. The staff person who hosted the breakfast was fantastic, very friendly and willing to do whatever it took to make our visit enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The yellow sight seeing bus was fantastic and about 1/2 the price of the regular red - hop on hop off bus you see. I would recommend you save the extra money for some of the great food!

Cool…but not great

Night crew sucked, day crew was great, and the restaurant was stupid expensive. The best things I can say are: breakfast had a great view and it was 4 blocks from Parliament (where all the buses and trams started).

X95 from airport stops right there (4 blocks away) and all the shopping you could want to do is accessible by tram -just be patient.

Bells, Bells, Bells

Very comfortable beds. Some of the baths are small with small showers. Some rooms have only a double bed. Not comfortable for two adults. Acropolis view rooms are wonderful, but there is a church across the street. Bells every 1/2 hour. Small elevator, so many stairs. Very helpful front desk staff. No kleenex. Clean rooms. Good WiFi. Breakfast is simple but OK.

Great Location

Overall a great experience. Breakfast is terrific. Information at the desk is a bit tedious (but they do try and will look things up if specifically asked to do it). Room was spacious and romantic.
