Mostly good
For the most part this was a great hotel. Unfortunately two dining spots in the hotel were unavailable for dinner. One was closed and the other had private function. I was very disappointed that the pool closed at 8pm. Room service food was good. Room was large yet uninspiring.

Nothing special...but not too bad.
expected more from this hotel. Very loud, need shuttle to main tourist sites, not enough ventilation in the room. Staff was nice.

great hotel!
The hotel was great. Only issue was that the location wasn't central (wasn't walking distance to sites) but they have a free shuttle that takes you to Syntagma Square. Great service, wonderful views from the top floors.

Great hotel, terrible location.
I was only in Athens for a few days. The hotel was fabulous, but it was in the middle of the ghetto. It's a 5 minute walk from the metro, but you have to travel through a pretty sketchy neighborhood. The location is fine for business travelers or adults, but i would not travel with children here. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooftop resturant is pricey but it has a perfect view of the acropolis. If you want to save money don't eat dinner and just get a bottle of wine to enjoy the view.

Athens
At first we got a smoking room that smelled, they moved us to a lesser room. We paid more for a room with a view. We got half a building on the seventh floor in the way of the view. Stay away from 740. The hotel is nice but I paid for a room with everything, with a view of the city and got a smaller room with a building in the way of the view that I paid more money for. Price for dinning where very high. Breakfast cost 45 dollar a person or 32 euros. Food in the city was very cheap. The hotel price where very high on food.

Entertainment tip:
Long walk from hotel
Have good walking shoes to see the sites. They are all in walking distance of each other about a half a mile between them. Their are six or seven major sites it is hot, and have a map.
