Breathtaking !
I was there to visit family and friends. The hotel was magnificent, much much more hotel than I needed, if i had been traveling with a Princess it would have been adequate.

"Lovely sanctuary"
Arrived 9:30am, expected to wait for check-in but was immediately given rooms. Upgraded to Butler Floor (don't waste money booking this upgrade) Concierge services mark up excursions, tickets and taxi trips. Their advice was not always accurate. Overall, hotel and staff wonderful. Location directly center to everything you want to see. Rooms beautiful/elegant. Over-priced breakfast in keeping with ***** hotel. Roof-top bar has must-see view. Hired taxi driver for two days - private tour outside of city to see Corinth and Sounio ruins and beach. Better fit for our schedule than group tour. Plan to walk Monastiraki flea market only on Sunday morning. Great experience and local character. Breakfast in local street cafes much better than near hotel.

Negotiate with taxi driver for private tour outside of city. Personal fit for your schedule; less wasted time than group tour. Drove to Corinth and beach. Next day to Sounio and beach hotel (lunch, showers, umbrella and chairs on beach. Driver stopped at port on return to Athens for our prepaid ferry tickets. Avoided early arrival next morning for ferry to Mykonos.

An Excellent Hotel to Stay
This was an excellent hotel recommended by a friend. We always stay in good hotels when out of town, but have never seen such a classy hotel with excellent service. The view of the roof top restaurant is truly breathtaking. We strongly recommend this hotel to all and will definitely go back there on our future trips to Athens. Athen is a beautiful city with very nice people to visit. When planning a trip do not forget about visiting as many islands as you can. The three small islands we visited in one day were so beautiful.

Watch out for an "upgrade"
The Hotel is Ideally situated for the traveler to athens the rooms are Increadable but maintanance is poor. Watch out for the "upgrade" we were to get a suite with buttler and got a smaller suite without buttler, no refund of cost difference because it was an "upgrade" to what?
