A hotel located at the foot of the Acropolis

Great Hotel
Only spent a night at the hotel since we just came back from the islands and had an early flight the next morning. The hotel was very spacious and close to the acropolis, metro, and plaka. We were a group of 3 friends and the room was quite spacious...while the bathroom appeared clean there was an odor we could have done without and the tub was draining very slowly...things we could deal with for one night. The staff was very helpful as there was a taxi strike the night before, they called and made sure the metro to the airport was working for us. Had a great experience wish we could have been there longer to take full advantage of all it had to offer.

The location was great, the staff was helpful, the room although small was clean and comfortable. The only two things it needs improvement: breakfast was not included in the room and there was no wireless in the rooms. You need to pay 5 euros for 24 hours internet service wireless AT the lobby. Again, the location was fantastic, just three blocks away from the plaka, the new acropolis museum, etc.

Divani Palace Acropolis
Only major complaint is lack of outlets for plugging in your electronic devices. Hotel staff was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.

Plenty of places for dining and shopping by walking to Plaka. There are a number of restaurants and cafes for breakfast or just coffee or snacks in the neighborhood about three blocks away near the Syngrou-Fix Metro station and on Makrygianni near the Acropolis Museum and Metro station.

Great service! Personel very attentive and extremely helpful. Room was clean and in great condition. [...] I'll check on that. I was not satisfied with the quality of the bed. Very soft and without any support whatsoever. If you like REAL soft beds this is the place.

Great hotel
The hotel was extremely busy when we arrived and there was only one receptionist. However the hotel is beautiful in the great location. The room was big and nicely designed. The hotel restaurant offered nice view and the food was tasty but not traditional Greek which was a little disappointing. I would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure.

Great location to classical sites
Hotel is ideally located from visiting the classical sites in Athens. Most of these sites are within walking distance. Hotel staff was very helpful providing information.

DIVANI PALACE ACROPOLIS
hotel was very well located, THE ONLY PLUS. room was clean. air conditioning for the room was awful...to say the least. it cooled only the entrance area in our room. it was sooooooooo stuffy that we moved our beds to the opposite side of the room to try to get some cool air. housekeeping turned off the a/c when we were out. beds were too soft in the center. NOT A 4 or 5 STAR HOTEL. THE ROOF TOP 'SECRETS RESTAURANT' CHARGED E11 or $19 PER DRINK...excessively expensive. we were planning stay another 2 nights later next week but cancelled the reservation. DO NOT CONSIDER DIVANI

Beautiful hotel, brand new room!
Our expirence was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. THe only negative, is the nearby streets are very dirty, and crowded with parked cars!
