Couldn't be much better.

We spent our last two nights in Greece at the Amalia Hotel. The price was decent, considering all it has to offer. It was quiet, comfortable, and one block from Syntagma, the tram, the metro and the X95 bus to the airport. The buffet breakfast offers a huge variety of fruit, breads, eggs, sausage, the works. And we were offered free in-room Wi-Fi during our stay. Our room was a little small. But with all that's available within a few blocks, we didn't spend much time there anyway. A great accommodation.

Learn to use the Metro. It's cheap, fast, and will take you most places you want to go. Just be aware that pickpockets also like the metro, so secure your stuff.

Definitly will return

The hotel is in a great location, near the metro and buses, walking distance to Plaka, Monestraki, Thissio, Acropolis. I was placed on the 1st floor with no view at the start, but was moved to 5th floor on request with a slightly better view from the window, which I was very pleased with. Breakfast is excellent, plenty of variety. Rooms service came everyday. The front desk staff were excellent and always willing to help, very welcoming.
