Great for Business
The Golden Tulip is close to the airport and a great place to meet for business. The remodel is going slowly, but the new decor is excellent and much needed. The breakfast buffet is good and the service friendly. The dinner menu is overpriced and the food ranges from uninspired to bad. Many people simply order drinks by the pool or in the cafe.

Clean, Friendly and Relaxing
If you travel the sub sahara region, this hotel will make you smile with a reasonable price for the business traveller and sold value for the money. The recently remodeled rooms are very eye pleasing and condusive to relaxation and rest. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly. Food is a 4.5 out of 5 and the free breakfast buffet in the morning is nice added perk to a bottom line savings. Internet could be a little less pricey at $45 USD for a 12 hour block, but it is reliable and holds VPNs back to EU and North America very well. Pool is very clean and the hotel staff very attentive. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat without even considering the Holiday Inn around the corner.

Safe, clean and friendly.
The location is close to the International Airport and is a very self-contained location. The food and service were very good. Friendly staff and very clean, although the Hotel was getting a quick renovation for the Christmas Holiday. Money can be coverted right at the hotel. The casino next door is very small.

Much better than expected
The location made it possible for me to meet with associates at the hotel and to get to other business meeting around the city. A first clas breakfast is served daily and the dining menu was also quite good. A bit pricey in terms of dollars, but compared to other hotels in the area probably not a bad deal. I was there for four nights, basically had no problems.
