A nice hotel with friendly service and with good connection to the centre. 0707SO The exterior of the building is in a clean, modern style. The hotel has a pale yellow facade similar to the other buildings in the area. The hotel is located in a quiet side street in a central residential area and within walking distance of all the city centre tourist attractions and shops.

REGA Rooms

The bedrooms are medium sized and simple and modern in design. They are very bright due to the good size windows, white walls and pale pastel colored soft furnishings. The beds are made from dark wood and are standard throughout. The bathrooms are quite small as they mostly contain only showers, but both they and the rooms are in good condition.

My review of REGA

The Rega is probably a good business hotel. It is located near a metro stop, and we saw several guests walking in that direction. The parking garage is under construction and is very difficult to access. There are no restaurants near by. Dining is limited to the hotel restaurant, which is really a smoke filled neighborhood bar. The food was mediocre. Breakfast was much better. The room was furnished with two small dining armless chairs, fine for lunch, but not for sitting long. The headboard wasn't flat, but protruded a couple of inches at the top. It was most uncomfortable to sit against. The light box was placed about 6 above the headboard, making it impossible to sit up in bed. We asked for extra pillows, which were brought and which helped. There was one face cloth in the bathroom. Since there were two of us we asked for another. They brought towels instead. The bathroom has a nice stall shower, but very poor lighting.
