Ideal business location for Munich airport and city
Holiday Inn Express Munich Airport hotel offers warm Bavarian hospitality just a 10-minute journey by hotel shuttle from Munich Airport. Simple Layover
We had a simple overnight layover in Munich and didn't want to sleep on an airport bench. We booked this room due to close proximity to the airport and lower cost. Everything was good from the check-in to the meals to the check-out. I'd stay there again if needed.

On the road a lot
Convenient and nice
I was there because it was close to the airport. Reasonable charges and helpful/friendly people there who could easily communicate with me.

Too tired to invent a cute name
LAST RESORT
Stayed one night (too many) with my wife awaiting an early AM flight from Munich, but will only return as a last resort. The bed was way too small and was essentially a hammock, so one of us would be awakened when the other rolled over. I was finally able to catch three hours sleep by taking the cushions off the sofa and sleeping on the floor. The continental breakfast was pretty good, but I was too tired to really appreciate it. For those used to free airport shuttles, you will be surprised by the 4 Euro (each way) run to the Munich airport. All in all, this is not a hotel I can recommend except as a last resort.

Ok, but 8 euro for shuttle
Everything was fine like any other hotel, but this was the first time I got charged for a shuttle to and from the airport.

Young traveling couple
Good hotel for price near airport
Nice, clean, modern hotel at reasonable price close to airport. Staff spoke English. 30 minutes free Internet. Clean room and bath of decent size. Though close to airport, not too noisy from airplanes (even for a light sleeper). Excellent breakfast buffet included from 4 am on. Shuttle to airport every 30 minutes for 8 euros per room. In a small town with few dining options, but the place we went for dinner was in walking distance and a fair price. Would stay again for an early flight out. Would not suggest as a base for visiting the city - airport is quite a ways outside the city. Only complaint is that the mattress was a bit old and sagged in middle, otherwise enjoyed our brief stay.

Little Italian restaurant a little walk away has good food for fair price, can sit outside under the trees. Not many restaurants nearby to choose from.

Munich airport hotel
This hotel had everything I needed, but might not be for everyone. It was clean, modern, and the front desk staff was wonderful, but it is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go into Munich, you have to take the hotel shuttle back to the airport for the train into the city -- eight euros each way. And then you still have your train fare into Munich. There are a few good restaurants a ten minute walk into the little town, but the hotel only has junk food. I would stay here anytime, but not if I intended to go into Munich. Retired teacher

Not bad
Got into Munich, asked information where to catch the shuttle bus. Bus came 15-20 minutes later. Directly to the hotel in under 10 minutes. Check in was simple, but phone, internet and tv did not work in my first room. They gave me a 2nd room and all were working. Average room, nothing extraordinary. Morning breakfast buffet was VERY good. Check out was easy. I paid for the 2 shuttle trips and internet, about 22 Euros. Back to the airport and on my way..
