The hotel offers a pleasant and relaxing product within the city walls. LH0508 The hotel is built in the typical town house style of rothenburg, with a sloping roof, attic windows and flower boxes. The Roter Hahn is located in a quiet side street within the city walls, opposite St Johanniskirche just a minutes walk from the Market square.

Due to the age of the building the rooms vary in shape and size but are all in good condition. The bathrooms are shower only. All around the hotel are old pieces of furniture and ornaments, depicting the medieval years of the past.
24 hour room service
The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor at the front of the building and is also open to the general public is decorated with wood panelling, old ornaments and brick-a-brack, becoming a very cosy, bavarian style restaurant in the evening.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night. It is located in the beautiful city of Rothenburg. This hotel has the bare minimum, so don't expect any frills. It's really just a cheap place to stay for a short amount of time. There are plenty of shops
and restaurants within walking distance (the whole city is within walking distance. It't not that big. The bathroom is tiny and the hotel itself is very old (as are all the buildings there) but it was fine for what it was.
