The 3 star hotel Goldenes Lamm has a long tradition and is located in the city centre on the historical market place of Rothenburg. This house was used by the Shepherd Brotherhood as a hostel for more then 500 years ago. The hotel offers comfortable modern rooms as well as a restaurant with beer garden and is famous for the regional cuisine. The hotel is an ideal exit point for trips to the surrounding neighborhood and country sides. All rooms are nicely decorated in traditional furnishing and have private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Other room amenities include Wireless Internet free of charge; Sat TV and a sitting area. Public parking is available about 100m from the hotel at a cost of approximately 2 EUR per day. Check-in between 2 and 6pm. For check-in at a later time please inform the hotel prior to arrival. Additional Information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 7-16 receive a 20pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

Do not depend on them to be open. Even if they give you a number to call when you arrive so you can check in,,,they will be rude,,,they will not return,,,look elsewhere. beautiful location. beautiful city,,

The hotel was very small!! And there was NO parking nearby! We had to park and walk back to our hotel. This is not easy dragging two large suitcases over cobblestones! The location was a plus because it was located in the middle of town. Great location to see everything.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The Christmas Store was great, along with the Criminal museum. Walking the perimeter of the wall was interesting also.

Goldenes Lamm was so so..

The rate they charge for the quality of the room, it was not worth anything close to what it should be. The room did not even have a telephone, and it was strip down to nothingness!!!
