Rothenburg ob del Tauber
Very beautiful historic hotel. Location was perfect; within walking distance of everything. Price was a bit high, but worth it. Parking was 10 Euro. Staff was great and breakfast was above average. The Euro beds are hard to get used to; small and firm as a board. All in all, great trip.

An excellent stay in the most
An excellent stay in the most charming hotel. The restaurant, which you must book in advance, was excellent. The quality of the food and service was exemplary, The breakfast room and buffet could not be faulted. As you would expect in an historic building, the room sizes will vary. Ours was large and comfortable. The ensuite might be cramped for obese guests = but it was convenient and met our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel and will return when I have the chance.

Grandma will travel
Little town
Well I chose this hotel hoping to get a room with exposed beams, but i did not. It was a nice location and quiet, and the rooms were clean. I still do not like having to pay for parking when staying in the hotel.

A+ location, great service, bad decor
Excellent hotel in many ways (service, cleanliness, location), but hard to consider it truly 4 stars due to decor. In-room decor was right out of 1950's America (and possibly the furniture and rug were that old!). There are four different buildings, some accross the street, but of course only one has the main lobby. The other ones have huge, eriely-abandoned lobbies stuffed with broken-down, but interesting antiques. You are not getting a coordinated antique experience, but more like a room in the corner of a Bavarian garage sale. Hotel is recommended if the price is right. Location perfect, service decent, extra charges for everything but not unusually so.

Climb the Rathaus tower across the street from hotel, if you are comfortable with very steep, narrow, old, slippery wooden stairs that go on forever. Best view in Europe awaits you at the top.

Wonderful Fair Tale Hotel
Wonderful little hotel in the center of this enchanting town. Hotel felt as if we enter fairy tale. Staff was young, hip and most professional with every intention to make our stay pleasant and memorable. Great place to come to for special events.
