Comfortable, classic hotel in the west of the Bavarian capital

there is a small plaza 4 blocks away with several dinner options, look for Tarantino s Restaurant, amazing italian food

Good location for beerfest
Location was good for beerfest. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Room was okay. Queen bed with two mini comforters, meant for each person. Smelled of a prior smoker, even though it was non smoking. One of the best parts was the American breakfast, plenty for two and the cheeseburger in the bar. If you get a chance order the cheeseburger it's one of the best we'd ever had.

Very good location
Ecellent access to public transportation, S bahn, U bahn, Trains, and busses. Reasonably close to downtown. Several Excellent resturants within two blocks. Italian, Greek, Sushi, Thai, and German. Several Bars in between the resturants. Brunch was a bit pricey at 22 Euros per person, Not Inklusive with room. Parking was easily accessible, 20 Euros per night. Several Imbisses nearby also. I already miss the backed breakfast backed goods. If you rent a car Gps a must, not a straight street in town, lots of one-way streets, and up and down ramps all over. U Bahn was a great deal, one ticket pays for all trains and busses for whole day.

Several resturants nearby, check the menus on outside before entering to see what kind of food suits you that particular night. Most resturants post their menus in glass illuminated boxes on outside of buildings.

Great Hotel!
Loved the Hotel! I was really impressed with the Club Room we got on the 9th floor - it was large and very comfortable. It also included the abundant appetizer/drink buffet on the 10th floor along with a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Convenient location to U Bahn
Hotel in easy location to access downtown within 2-3 minutes via u-bahn outside front door . Had very nice room with access to club room - very nice breakfast and snack offerings - cold beverages, wine and beer. Staff was outstanding, personable and helpful!

Convenient Location
Great location, right above a U Bahn stop. DO NOT have breakfast at the hotel- 22 euros per person. Not worth it. Go across the street to Yellow Cafe. There is a charming small biergarten down the road called Villa Flora, with delicious, reasonably priced food and friendly staff.

U-Bahn, the Munich subway system which has a stop right in front of the hotel, is wallet friendly and easy to navigate. Use it even if your are not being budget conscious- a great way to make getting around fast and easy!

Third hotel stay in Munish is a keeper
I attended a trade show at the convention center. The underground/metro is right outside the door, so location was great even though it is a 30 minute subway ride with one train switch at Hauptbahnhof. It is only a 4 stop ride to the center of the city for anyone wanting to sightsee, drink German beer and eat sausages and saurkraut. I stayed on one of the club floors, with a lounge providing complimentary breakfast and snacks till 11:00 pm, including beer and wine. They also provided high speed internet lan upon request. I did have breakfast in the main restaurant on a couple of occasions, and it was very good.

Al Paladino Italian restaurant a five minute walk and Ruen Thai restaurant were both excellent choices with surprisingly good and comprehensive wine lists.

Great pool and spa. Close to train.
Great property with nice pool/spa area. Free internet terminals in lobby. Extremely convenient to train stop next door. Not far from City Center. Staff was friendly--provided me with an outlet adapter. My family had a great stay there!

Great Location
This hotel was in a great location, only a couple of stops on the U-Bahn to the Karlsplatz, and as the hotel was on top of the U-Bahn stop, it was really easy! The hotel was nice as well, quiet, clean, and the staff were all really great. I would definitely consider this hotel again!

Our experience at this hotel was great! It is literally on top of the U-Bahn stop that can get you to literally everywhere in Munich and West Munich. The staff was super friendly, the pool and spa facilities were also tranquil and relaxing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Buy a daily pass for the U-Bahn, they are 5.20 euro and pay for themselves in 3 rides. Otherwise, it's 2.40 per ride.
