4-star hotel in quiet area of Bavaria’s historic capital city
The Renaissance Munich Hotel is close to major transportation and famous attractions, like the Munich Allianz Arena, Englischer Garten, Marianplatz and the landmark Frauenkirch cathedral in Munich City Center. The Nordfriedhof U-bahn (underground) station is just 100 meters from the hotel, and the A9 Autobahn is a short drive away. But the real appeal of the Renaissance Munich is its quiet location, is in Munich's stylish Schwabing district, and a 10-minute walk from the Englischer Garten.

Fine hotel, convenient for meeting
This hotel was fine for the one night I stayed. It was close to my meeting, but a short subway ride to the town center & shopping. The bathroom was a little dated but the room was nice.

Short walk from hotel
Subway was very convenient, as was the Luftanzsa shuttle to the airport. Both are ~1.5 blocks and the shuttle was leaving every 20 mins or so when I caught it. A very reasonable fee and direct to terminal service.

Travelling Rubbernator
Not a great business hotel
It was noisy on the weekend. As a business person that travels lots I at least expect A/C. Without it the window and doors had to be open and when the buses arrive I thought I was staying outside the bus station. The bathroom was a joke.

Alles ok
Wlan viel zu teuer, und selbst die 2 Rechner in der Lobby müssen bezahlt werden, wenn man sie benutzen möchte. Aufzug nur in den 4ten Stock (bei 5 Stöcken), und da das Hotel sehr groß ist, sind die Gehwege mitunter sehr lange. Restaurant bietet auf der Speisekarte nichts für Vegetarier an, ist aber immerhin flexibel genug für (überhöhte Preise) etwas speziell anzufertigen. Am Anreisetag war die Benützung des Hotel-Restaurants nicht möglich, da zumittag schon ausgebucht - leider sehr wenig Plätze für die Größe des Hotels. Optisch ist das Hotel innen sehr schön, aussen Krankenhauscharakter. Sauberkeit Top, Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Zimmer sehr schön und Ausstattung auch sehr gut. Minibar war leider leer und wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt. Wellnessbereich sehr schön. Zimmerservice war auch gut.
