Novotel Muenchen Messe

I paid around $200/night for a week. Very expensive, but the room is too small, there is no continental breakfast and the Internet access is 10 Euros. I had a "do not disturb" sign displayed, but someone still got into the room.

Reasonable price. Perfect location as far as 1) the subway connection, 2) Trade fair, 3) Shopping mall. Saving from the highly charged breakfast (€19 per person) suggests breakfast/ coffee/meal in the nearby shopping center, where you can find everything around food.

This hotel is designed for the comfort of the traveler. Every detail was thought out carefully. The rooms themselves are much larger than the average European hotel room. The beds and chairs are extra comfortable. The handsome ultra-modern decor overlooks nothing - plenty of light fixtures and bright, bright bulbs, plentiful storage options, and lots of counter and desk and table space for your stuff. The temperature-control system is amazing in that it has a controllable thermostat and runs quietly and efficiently. There is even a door-sized window which opens for fresh air in nice weather. The room was exceptionally clean and in good repair. Everything in the room had the solid, sturdy feel of quality instead of the usual shaky, cheesy hotel-quality furniture. As for the staff, they are astoundingly proficient in English, very friendly, and accommodating in the extreme. One night, as we arrived at the hotel, we asked for extra towels at the main desk. Imagine our surprise when the chambermaid, towels over her arm, was unlocking our door as we arrived at the room. This was typical of the service during our week's stay there. The breakfast buffet, while somewhat pricey at 17 Euros, was amazing. It catered to an international clientele, from American to Japanese and everyone in between. Without exaggeration, the food room was about 20 feet square, and if you tried to eat one of every item displayed, you'd be full before you could get one-fourth the way around. It was just outstanding in its variety, and everything we ate was prepared perfectly. In actuality, we saved money by eating breakfast at the hotel, because after that feast, we had to skip lunch every day. I can't say enough good things about the Dorint Novotel Muenchen Messe. It is the way all hotels should be but aren't. Every single thing which could be done to make the traveler comfortable was done, even to lending me an adapter plug when I couldn't find my own. We give this hotel 10 stars and will definitely search out hotels in this chain on our vacations. You cannot go wrong here. P.S. Even though this hotel is some distance from the center of Munich, an U-Bahn (subway)station is right outside the door and can have you in town in 20-25 minutes. The wait for a train was never more than 3-4 minutes, the trains are clean and efficient, and the system runs all over the city.

立地は市郊外なのでミュンヘン中心部を観光をするひとにはあまりよい場所とはいえない。本来は隣接する見本市の開催シーズンの客を見込んだホテルである。 しかし部屋は広さも十分あり、清潔であった。また料金は場所的な要因と見本市開催期間外ということもあってとても安かった。 ミュンヘン観光をするのが目的である場合、車があればこの場所でも利用価値があると思う。
