- The rooms are modern and benefit from double-glazed windows, which ensure the rooms are quiet for such a central location. The rooms are small but kept in good condition, as are the bathrooms.

Yikes!
Having traveled extensively on five continents over the last 40+ years, I must say that this hotel stands out as the very worst. It smelled like 60 years of accumulated ashtray and the room was literally smaller than 2nd class cabins on cruise ships. The desk staff was somewhere between surly and down-right rude, not to mention unhelpful. The "free wireless" internet was worthless, as it would kick you off (if you could get on in the first place) and the middle of whatever you were doing. It required a sign up/sign in that took over my e-mail account (and is probably still in there phishing). There was strett noise until 3AM and the punks followed me down the street cussing at me.. The only good thing about it is its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof, but the are several other hotel just as close.

Location is great, Breakfast is
Location is great, Breakfast is nice. Some staff are friendly, and many others are extremely unhelpful, and that actually created some unnecessary inconvenience during our short visit to Munich. Luckily we had a better experience in another hotel nearby during that 2 days. It was very scary as we heard another guy knocking on my door and shouted in the middle of the night. Early morning we saw pants on the floor besides our room...

Friendly helpful english speaking staff, Excellent breakfast and a free internet terminal- what more do you need. Directly opposite the train station as well!!

This was a good hotel with an excellent breakfast. The only problem was that there is a bar which opened off reception from which there was a strong smell of smoke.

The hotel was clean but basic.
The hotel was clean but basic. It was very quiet. That could be that we had a room overlooking the small street at the rear. Perhaps a room overlooking Arnulfstrasse might be a bit different with trams and traffic. One outstanding feature of the hotel was the breakfast. It would have to be amongst the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very good quality and fantastic variety. Another feature was free wireless access to the internet. Many much more expensive hotels do not offer this. I would gladly stay there again.

Ludwig Hotel is set in an excellent
Ludwig Hotel is set in an excellent position right opposite to the main train station, the breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful... I would go there again if I had to choose!
