GHOTEL hotel and living Muenchen-Nymphenburg

Excellent location, very easy walk to Trams and U-ban, grocery stores and restaurants. Very warm due to no AC and there was road construction outside my window 7am to 8 pm everyday. Great little kitchenette that helped with the food budget. One hotel receptionist gave terrible advice about how to get to the local castle. Bring your own map and don't depend on them.

Hotel was in great location, just 3 metro stops from the centre of Munich and easy to get to the OlympiaPark for the football festival too. Room was clean and spacious. Reception staff all spoke English (thankfully as my German is terrible) and were very friendly and helpful. Price for 3 nights was very reasonable (£400) seeing as the cheapest prices I could find were £600+ due to the Champions League final. Room faced onto the street and could be noisy at times during the night, but that's a minor criticism. Would recommend and certainly use again when I revisit.

About the only thing that isn't perfect is the atrociously expensive Wi-Fi from GANAG/TheCloud: 29 Euros per week? The exercise room is new with modern equipment, for a hotel this size it's outstanding. Breakfast is yummy.

Check-in was extremely efficient, as the hotel staff readily had my file on hand. "Service with a smile" is something all the staff members take to heart. Helpful, patient and service-oriented. Room very cleanly kept, of modest and manageable size, all necessities covered. Checkout was equally fast and stress-free. A small hiccup during checkout (due to personal oversight, not the hotel) was very patiently and professionally handled. Stay here while in Munich. Location has access to city center without being involved in the bussle. Staff outstanding. Best hotel experience in recent history.

Very good hotel for money you pay, clean, calm, 50 m near by metro, 3 stations metro to the center, main railway station, etc.

No frills budget hotel that provides good value. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a supermarket, restaurants of all kinds and a Bikram yoga place across the street. Room s are small but sufficient with a small kitchenette and fridge. Bathroom is even smaller...

The hotel is great! That simple. The price is superb. Location is fantastic. If you need to hear more, read on.The room is a bit small, but it comes with a kitchenette!!!! Microwave, fridge, 2 electrical stove tops, kettles, knife, plates/cups.....and it all fits so beautifully. The bath is a generous sized one (by European standards).The front-staff could not be any better. Really try to go the extra mile to help. [...] spent close to 30 minutes explaining things to do!The internet access wired (limit to 35 minutes, but this is simply to make sure everyone gets a chance....but they gave me 5 extensions with a smiling face!!!). If you want in-room internet wireless, it is 12.50 euros.In all, this is a superb place. It has LOT more amenities than its star rating. Deserves every bit of it. I think those who don't rate it good would want Waldorf Astoria for 20 bucks...give me a break.

I had a reservation at G-Hotel Nymphenburg and I read that if I am come after 11 p.m. then I should contact the reception in advance. I did so and I was surprised that they "had problems with my reservation" and they moved me to G-Hotel Zentrum (ca. 7km south). Without informing me! If I had not called, I could have ended up on the street! The Zentrum hotel ws OK, but no breakfast was included in the price. In addition, in order not to hit my head in the morning, I had to disassemble a lamp in the room, which was just above my head.

Die dame am Empfang war sehr sehr nett und kompetent. Die Buchung online sehr irrefuehrend!wir wollten doppelbett grosse matratze ruhiges zimmer mit fruehstueck.fuer den preis bekamen wir lautes zimmer, 2 betten ohne fruehstueck. die nette dame hat es noch arrangiert. aus dem waschbecken starker schimmelgeruch. lage und sonst einwandfrei, nichts besonderes.keinerlei "flair"

Sehr praktisch ist die Kochnische mit Kühlschrank, Kochplatten und Mikrowelle. Zimmer nach vorn sind etwas laut, die Fenster haben allerdings eine gute Schallisolierung.
