This was a nice hotel for a quick stopover in Munich. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood of Munich and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again a good value for the money.

Good location

Would recommend Tue, Dec 23, 2014
Perfect location for touring downtown Munich, about a 15 minute walk from the main square and the best breweries of the area. Rooms are great size with a friendly staff, only downfall is that there is no free parking.

Attractions

about a 15 minute walk from the world famous Hofbrauhaus.

Layover in Munich

Would recommend Tue, Apr 29, 2014
We loved this hotel. Although not in the center of Munich, there were two substations within a 10 minute walk. The staff was courteous, the room comfortable (although we wish they had a couch versus two chairs) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely worth every penny!

Short City Break

Would recommend Mon, Feb 11, 2013
Spent 3 nights at this Living Hotel ( 2 Rooms). Pleasantly surprised at the size and furnishings of rooms and the kitchenette facilities which meant we could save on the cost of breakfast in the Hotel. Limited daily free mini bar (water & beer) was very welcome. Local supermarket was in same block as Hotel and proved very useful. Unisex sauna was a bit naturist for our British reserve. Nearest tube station was a 15 minute walk but daily group ticket (18 euros for 5 adults) was a good buy and offered discounts at some of the city attractions / tourist facilities. Reception staff were very helpful and we are happy to recommend this hotel and may try others in the same group. Only reservation was restaurant seemed expensive and limited so we ate out locally.

Dining

Bulgarian restaurant "Trango" was very reasonably priced with a good variety of dishes.

Princessin Elisabeth

Would recommend Thu, Aug 4, 2011
Munich was our favorite city, thanks in part to the awesome staff at the Princessin Elisabeth. There was also a nice grocery store right downstairs, a convenient kitchenette in our room and the train station was a 10-15 minute walk (nice when weather is good). There is also a bike/running trail right near the hotel. We stayed in Europe for three weeks and this was easily the best hotel for the money!!

kind but expensive and far

Would not recommend Mon, Feb 7, 2011
I attended a conf which was in the center of the city, a 15 euro cab ride and so the transportation became pricey and there were no mass transit options. They charge 13 euros a day for internet which is unacceptable and even if I do not drink, they won't exchange the complimentary beer with water.
