Princessin Elisabeth
Munich was our favorite city, thanks in part to the awesome staff at the Princessin Elisabeth. There was also a nice grocery store right downstairs, a convenient kitchenette in our room and the train station was a 10-15 minute walk (nice when weather is good). There is also a bike/running trail right near the hotel. We stayed in Europe for three weeks and this was easily the best hotel for the money!!

kind but expensive and far
I attended a conf which was in the center of the city, a 15 euro cab ride and so the transportation became pricey and there were no mass transit options. They charge 13 euros a day for internet which is unacceptable and even if I do not drink, they won't exchange the complimentary beer with water.

A little out of the way in relation to tram/underground, but bus nearby. Located in largely residential district so many good cafes / restaurants. The Munich transport system offers an all day family pass (for up to 5) for all types of transport. If you are more than 1, then that transport option makes this hotel a very good option.

The location was quiet yet convinient
The location was quiet yet convinient for public transportation. Room and furbishings were excellent. Buffet breakfast is lacking variety and depth for this class of a hotel. There were many flavored waters and only one type of juice.

World Traveler
Nice hotel with an "ok" location
For the purpose of a place to lay your head for the night this hotel is fine. Dont expect anything too exciting. Breakfast is offered every morning but you are not told that it is not included until you check out. The walk to the "touristy" stuff is about 25 minutes if you are at a good pace. After 3 days I was taking cabs places.

If you are in town for Octoberfest and nothing else you can walk there in about 10 minutes. If you want to see Munich find a hotel closer to the train station and city center.

One night in Munich
Location had me concerned at first - the hotel wasn't on the city map. But it is still an easy walk into the city, and the area it is in is very nice. The room was stunningly good, not just clean, but perfectly fitted out and stylish. The service was extremely friendly and helpful.

The river, which runs close past the hotel, provides the perfect location for a run, walk or ride. I went running from the hotel while I was there - not something you cam easily do from all hotels.

Valitsin hotellin, koska sen sanottiin olevan kävely- etäisyydellä Festwieseltä, niinkuin olikin, mutta muuten kaukana kaikesta (mm. U-Bahn). Hotellin hinta-laatusuhde ei todellakaan ole kohdallaan ja aamiainen ei sisältynyt hintaan, mitä kukaan ei maininnut: € 14,- kpl! Huone oli nuhjuinen ja kahdessa kerroksessa, ylä- kerrassa ei WC:tä, jyrkät raput alas. Henkilökunta epäammattimaista.
