BEST WESTERN Hotel MUC Airport

This hotel is not so convenient to MUC. 28Euro shuttle or 35Euro taxi was a shock. Wish I'd read reviews pointing that out. Rate was ok given Oktoberfest. Distance to S2 S Bahn ~20 minute walk.

This hotel is very far from the airport and from downtown Erding. The staff is incompetent and arrogant and they often gave us contrasting information. The rooms are small.

This is a comfortable no-frills reasonably priced hotel with free on-street parking. Breakfast buffet and egg-chef. In-room safe. Two minutes drive from therme.

I don't understand how this hotel can be rated 4 star. A total joke cost 28 euro for shuttle service and it is not only 6 miles from airport. Small rooms and the only plus was that it has free internet.

Clean, well maintained. "Airport" is misleading. 20 Euro taxi ride or 15 Euro hotel shuttle to airport. Reasonably-priced restaurant.

The hotel is excellent, close to the airport (~30 minutes). Good value for the money except for the shuttle service price which is comparable with one day stay for two persons (~ the same price with a renting a car for a day). Close to supermarket and parks. The only problem is that the staff should be more cheerfull and eager to help.

We stayed here overnight to catch flight on the next day, if coming or going this is a great place to stay! Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was big with a shower in the bathroom and as a bonus breakfast was included in their very nice dinning room. There were no shops or other dinning places near by but for a good nights sleep and close to Munich airport-This is a Great choice. WiFi work well. There was a children's play room on the main floor.

Pros: * Close to Therme Erding (1 mile walk across the field) and 10 minutes walk to the S2 train station * Good breakfast * Clean * Has a sauna (have not used though due to closeness to Therme Erding) Cons: * At least 1 hour to ride on S2 to downtown Munich * Terrible Internet connection - their crazy routing system makes the browser lose sessions on several web sites that I was using as often as once per 2-3 minutes - very annoying and does not let do any serious work. I had to go to the front desk specifically to get authorization code and had to sign a paper that I agree with terms and conditions. If that is necessary, why not make it part of the check-in??? * It cost me 30 euros to get there from the airport on a cab. The hotel charges 28 euros for a shuttle - ridiculous and even a ride to Therme that is just a couple miles from the hotel is 8 euros * No Air conditioner in the room that had 1/2 of the ceiling as part of the roof. It was a hot day and I was sweating like a pig with no chance of cooling off. Fortunately, nights were not that bad. * You can easily get lost in the coridors * Staff was friendly, but not very helpful with directions outside of the common path. If you want to save 18+ euros per airport trip, I would not use a hotel shuttle or taxi, but rather use public transportation - S8 and S2 trains for just 10 euros and about 1.5 hours of travel time to the S2 stop called Altenerding + 10 min street walk to hotel from the station. If you plan on riding to another place that same day, spend 10.80 euros instead to buy a full day ride ticket.

We were staying for one night, to catch an international flight from MUC at 9am the next day. The rooms are up to standard. The double bed were two twins put together. Everything was clean. Wifi was for free with voucher from checkin (need to ask for it). [...] breakfast was free. The breakfast had everything and was prepared by a cook; cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits, rolls and chesse and sausage. The airport is ~20 minutes by car from the hotel.

The room and restaurant were great and it is fairly close to the airport. It was very hot while we were there and they have no air conditioning or fans to help cool the room. Opening the windows did not help.
