- All rooms, which are very large, are furnished luxuriously with keen attention to individual detail.They are classical in style and there's no mistaking that one is staying in a really superlative hotel. Both rooms and bathrooms are of course in exceptional condition.

- The main restaurant, like all public areas and rooms, has an air of refinement and elegance whilst keeping comfort in mind. The 'corner bar' offers a more relaxed atmosphere for in-between snacks. After dinner you can enjoy evening dancing and entertainment at the "lieber augustin".

Great location with charm
Stepping out of the Lindau Hbf train station and seeing the hotel right across the street was priceless enough. Walking in to be greated by English-capable staff and warmly received added to the overall comfort. Then, though the rooms felt a little bit dated, they were spacious and very luxurious. A great location that I wish I had more time to appreciate and look through the town, but I was in and out before I knew it, catching a 6:00 am train north.

Great hotel, in the perfect location!
My wife and I stayed at the Bayerischer Hof hotel for two nights during our trip through Bavaria. Out of the several hotels we stayed at, this was our favorite. The room was large and clean, and the location was pefect. We easily walked to the center of town, and were seconds away from the harbor.
