Polite and professional staff. However, the hotel chain need to come up to speed in providing what their North American counterparts provide in rooms. Iron and ironing boards, alarm clocks, 110-240 volts, round and flat pins are necessities and not luxury. Come on this is the information age, provide 1-5 computers with internet access to your clientele for free. Its good business.

Westin Leipzig
Centrally located within easy walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof - the main train station. The city's streetcar hub is right at the main station, also, so you can easily get to just about anywhere in Leipzig. It's important to note that the train station is nothing like what might come to mind if you think of main train stations in the U.S. It is clean, safe, and has two sublevels of bright, attractive shops and clean, comfortable, and affordable food stores and restaurants. It even has a post office!

Short walk from hotel
There is a transit information hub across the street from the main train station, to the right of the little park. You can get one-day transit passes ("tageskartes"), maps, and helpful advice in English. The day passes for the streetcars are a big money saver.

Überfordertes Personal
Die Zimmer sind schön, die Lage gut. Das Frühstück jedoch eine Massenabwicklung, da während unseres Aufenthalts diverse Reisebusse da waren. Für den Eintritt ins Schwimmbad/Wellnessbereich werden p.P. 3 Euro von jedem Gast verlangt. Auch das finde ich für ein 4 Sterne Hotel schwach. Geärgert habe ich mich darüber hinaus über das Personal. Ein Beispiel: Um 14:00 Uhr war das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfähig. Wir wurden gebeten um 15:00 Uhr wieder zu kommen. Das Zimmer ist dann fertig. Als wir um 16:00 Uhr kamen war die Aussage vom selben Angestellten: Da haben Sie aber Glück gehabt, nun ist ein Zimmer frei.

Stylisches Hotel in toller Lage!
Schickes und stylisches Hotel in citynaher Lage mit nur 10 min Fußweg in die City. Leider ist die in den Websites geschilderte Hotelbar in der 27. Etage fast immer geschlossen, der einzig deutliche Minuspunkt für dieses Hotel, die hätten wir über Silvester gern genutzt!

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in der Nähe zum Bahnhof und ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Hotel kann ich weiter empfehlen.
