the room was basic with a very small ensuite bathroom.very close to the train station and an ideal place to stay to explore, the staff where friendly and very helpful plus there was a bar which never seemed to close :) if you want something basic and clean as a base to explore go for it, but if your wanting lots of frills forget it. friends of mine stayed in the novatel and paid nearly £200 more and they got a mini bar extra for there money, go for it and enjoy

Was visiting Leipzig for an event at the Arena and knew I would barely be in my room. It was perfect for just sleeping and offered a breakfast buffet from 06:00 - 10:00. Was clean, quiet, and well-located.[...]

Need to use lifts to reach bedrooms, only two, can be very busy at breakfast time, problem if a rush checkout to catch train from main station.

They charge you for everything. The wifi is very expensive and at a stupid 24h rate

The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean. It appears the room was set up for non-smokers but the room smelled of stale smoke. The smell was worse when the bathroom fan was on. Don't know if it was drawing the smell from somewhere else or if the room was a former smokers room. There were no other rooms available so we roughed it. The other thing was the gap between the door and threshold. Could have slid a newspaper under it. I've stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years - in fact I'm a frequent stayer in the rewards program - but I don't believe I'd stay at this one again.

In general we were satisfied with our stay.We did feel misled by the fact that we expected to be in a twin bedded room with en-suite facilities in the HOTEL section,as was stated on he booking coupon on this webpage.We were actaually accomodated in a room containing twin beds and two bunk beds.Also in the room there were four chairs,a table,a hallstand for coats,two bed side tables and four lockers and a TV.There was very little room to move with all this furniture and we felt a little cramped.We may be mistaken but we feel that maybe we were lodged in the HOSTEL section of the establishment.The twin bedded rooms were much more spacious.We did ask if it were possible to change to a twin bedded room but were told that the hotel would be full during the following days and that we had to remain in the four bedded room.We were on the 2nd floor and this did not seem to be anywhere near full on any day during our stay.Did we in fact pay for a HOTEL room but were given a HOSTEL room?

perfekte lage, ruhige zimmer und superfreundlicher empfang am checkin, sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!!!!!!!1

Das Haus ist perfekt für Leute, die n Laufnähe zu Bahnhof und Innenstadt sein wollen, denen es reicht, ein Bett, ein eigenes Bad und ihre Ruhe zu haben, und die nicht viel Geld (für Schnickschnack) ausgeben wollen. Dafür ist die Ausstattung mit TV und Fön schon wieder ziemlich gut. Dann tun es auch die Ikea-Möbel. Hauptsache sauber und intakt, und das trifft zu. Der Service ist halt eher einfach, ist aber klar und angemessen bei der Kategorie. Ich würde wieder dort buchen.

Sehr freundliche junge Leute an der Rezeption, guter Service, farblich gut abgestimmtes Interieur, moderne Sicherheitstechnik, gute Lage auch das Zimmer nach der Straßenseite, Bad ist nichts für korpulente Menschen, schön ist getrenntes WC,wir kommen gern wieder.
