Family Hotel
A very nice family run hotel on par with others in Ingolstadt. Great breakfast, and fine dinners in the restaurant. Friendly service. The walk to the city center is a nice 20 minutes as well as to the North Train Station. My room was very quiet. The price was reasonable. A couple of things to be aware of (in 2010) There are no clocks in the rooms (but they do have a phone wake up call service), the towels are a bit stiff, and the pillows a thin bag of feathers. There was a small refrigerator in the room.

Short walk from hotel
There is a food shopping center close by. A helpful hint, in Germany if you want aspirin or other over the counter drugs, you need to go to a apothecary but found that you can buy condoms and bras in the grocery store :-)
