- The bedrooms are all individually furnished in 3 different styles; modern, contemporary and traditional. The modern rooms do not reflect the style and age of the building but are furnished to a very high but simple standard.

- The restaurant is a real feature of this spectacular hotel. It is furnished in a very rustic style with the use of lots of dark wood, antlers and old weapons. It has a high arched ceiling and is lovely and cool during the summer whilst being warm and cosy in winter.

Lovely old hotel, very helpful
Lovely old hotel, very helpful staff and great location in the heart of old town. Rooms are old but very clean and comfortable enough. I would return there.
