Modest business hotel has event spaces, basic amenities near waterfront
Thanks to its central location, the Mercure Hotel Hamburg City makes a good choice for business guests who need a place in the city. The hotel sits about two miles from the Art Museum, Jungfernstieg and the Hamburg Dungeon. It is also just a few minutes from the central train station and about one block from the nearest metro stop. The Mercure Hotel Hamburg City has guest parking, an on-site restaurant and Wi-Fi access (fees apply). The Mercure Hamburg City was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a nice bar/restaurant in the lobby which was good for a late snack after I arrived. The hotel is not far from the train station but it isn't near the city center or in an interesting neighborhood. There is a handy city bike share depot about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There is no free internet -- it has to be bought for 9 EUR per day. The free computers in the hotel lobby are ancient and can barely pull up google. I think it is a bit silly at this point in time for hotels to not offer free wifi.

Lage könnte zentraler sein. Jedoch S bahnstation in unmittelbarer Nähe. Je nach Ausrichtung des Zimmers, starker Verkehrslärm. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet und geräumige, saubere Zimmer. Schöne, gemütliche Bar/Lounge und gutes Essen im Hotelrestaurant.
