In The Heart of The City
We arrived at the Marriott early in the morning after our overnight flight from the U.S. The people at the front desk were very helpful in finding us a room that met our requests even though check in was not officially available until 3:00 and the hotel was nearly full the previous night. Everyone at the hotel during our 3 night stay was just as helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance to all of the major attractions. Most are within a few blocks including the lake, good restaurants, and major historical sites. Even though the Marriott is located in the City Center it is on a small side street that is quiet and feels remote from the crowds and activities a short distance away. Our only complaint was the price of the food and drinks in the hotel. Breakfast was 19 Euros for just the Continental and 26 Euros for the Hot Breakfast. It was a pretty average selection of foods certainly not worth the price. But then there are a couple of excellent bakeries a short distance away.

The Hamburg History Museum provides a great overview of the city's history from the early years through the World War II. Most exhibits have English explanations as well.

Superior Hotel in a Perfect Location
The Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and quite large. Parking at the connected Park Haus was easy and convenient. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant offered an excellent menu for lunch and dinner. To top it all off, the location could not be better.

The hotel was insistent that the room had NOT been paid for. Had it not been for our arriving with the confirmation information in tow, we would have had to pay again. Believe it or not, at check out the same situation was repeated again!!

Great Location
Location is kinda of hidden by car, but once you find it, it's great! Parking garage is available in the building. Staff was very cordial, English speaking and very helpful. Resturants, shopping, museums, sightseeing everything all within walking distance. We would definitly stay here again.

direkte Lage in der Altstadt, sehr zentral gelegen, gute Lage zu den U und S Bahnen.
Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es lohnt sich jedoch mit dem Zug anzureisen, wir bezahlten für 4 Tage aufenthalt 120€ Parkgebühr!! Was in der Innenstadt wohl "normal" ist.
