Good for a weekend break
This is my third visit to Hamburg and finding a hotel for a good price has always been tough. However, this has been the best so far. I'm used to luxury hotels so I've scored this quite harshly, but overall I can't complain. I would have liked tea/coffee facilities in room, and even a local map of the area in the lobby (not even a leaflet). But the bar and restuarant was nice and useful as we were a group of people. I'd stay again and would be happy to tell friends to stay too.

Short walk from hotel
15min walk (or one stop on the U-Bahn) is a Block House restaurant. Its a German chain, but does good steak!

A two star quality
It was very disappointing. They don't have a Gym or any fitness facility or sauna. The room is tiny. The restaurant staff especially the manager needs to learn a lot about service. The TV does not have any English channels or any movies!

Hotel in der Nähe von U- und S-Bahnen
Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist gut gewartet. Jedoch ist eine generelle Renovierug innen und außen notwendig.

Hamburg wir kommen wieder
Gute Lage, für einen Städte-Trip das Richtige!
Das Hotel liegt nahe der Haltestelle Berliner Tor - von da kommt man mit der S1 vom Flughafen. Sowieso ist die S1 und die U3 (beide halten am Berliner Tor) die zwei wichtigsten Linien für Hamburg Stadt - da man mit ihnen alles erreichen kann! Das Hotel ist ok, wir finden für das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis und freies WLAN kann man nichts sagen. Das Hotel ist nicht das Neuste, aber für Leute mit wenig Anspruch, die ein sauberes Zimmer, nettes Personal und schnell mit dem ÖV im Zentrum sein wollen ist dieses Hotel sicher das Richtige!

Gutes Hotel für Junge Leute
Ich war mit einem Kollegen im Grand City Hotel Berlin in Hamburg und es hat uns alles sehr gepasst. Das beste ist die nahegelegene S-Bahn und Hochbahn -Station Berliner Tor von der man jede ecke in Hamburg innert kürzester Zeit erreichen kann.

Lage sehr gut, aber 4 Sterne?
Hotel hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich; Renovierung notwendig; Alte Zimmer- Ausstattung; Sauberkeit auf den ersten Blick o.k./ gut geputzt, aber alte Plüschteppiche in den Zimmern und Schimmelsporen in den Bad- Siphons (Riecht man)? Wir würden nicht mehr hingehen, trotz der guten Lage;

sehr gutes Hotel in sehr guter Lage
das Hotel hat alles geboten, was ich mir wünschte für ein Kurzurlaub in Hamburg. Auch wenn das Frühstück nicht drin war und es bei offenem Fester etwas laut war, hat es trotzdem allen Ansprüchen genügt und das große Bett war wirklich sehr bequem.

The reception staff was great
The reception staff was great and helpfull and polite. Just need to clean under the beds because it is full of dust. The Breakfast was ok and staff excellent. Will go again.
