The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the train station. The hotel also provides free bus tickets for travel within Gottingen. However, the city is reletively small, so you can get to downtown on foot within 10-15 minutes.
You can reach the Goethe Institut on Merkelstrasse by foot in 30-35 minutes. The hotel is clean. The breakfast buffet is extremely large (yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, eggs, bacon, assorted meats and cheeses, assorted breads, cereal, and coffee.) The cost for breakfast is around 7 Euros per person. Parking spaces are also available free of charge for those traveling by car. The hotel staff do not all speak English. I studied German, so I was able to communicate, but on three occaissions, it was necessary to communicate in only German.
