4-star luxury hotel in rural setting, convenient for Munich Airport
The Munich Airport Marriott Hotel is located in the Bavarian cathedral town of Freising, just 15 minutes by shuttle from Munich International Airport. Munich itself is a 40-minute train ride away. This modern, recently renovated 4-star hotel has an indoor swimming pool, spa facilities and traditional regional cuisine. The Munich Airport Marriott Hotel is just a 25-minute drive from the Allianz Arena, and a 35-minute drive from the Neue Messe trade fair center.

A very nice hotel
The staff was excellent, as were all aspects of this Hotel. The only negative was the very expensive breakfast - 19.00 euro for a continental breakfast!

The hotel and staff were very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The internet was good. The bar was nice. Overall safe and secure location.The hotel taxi shuttle service overcharged us. The driver demanded 30 extra Euros for taking us downtown to Octoberfest even after the Hotel staff told us it would be a 60 Euro ride.

Short walk from hotel
Take the train instead of a taxi. The train is about a 10-15 minute walk and it is much cheaper than taking a taxi. The train was running 24 hours a day when I was there for Octoberfest

The airport shuttle was expensive and took a long time to arrive at the airport. The shuttle back to the airport in the morning was late in arriving and overbooked.

Munich Airport Marriott
The hotel was very nice and the staff extremely helpful. The only complaint is that the shuttle ride was 11 euros per person each way from the airport. Next time we will take the train into the city and stay right in town.

What a great location!
Great location, convenient to Munich Airport by shuttle, but in a nearby small village, so not one of those impersonal hotels on the perimeter of most airports. And a short walk down the hill to the regular S-Bahn train to Munich. Great facilities, wonderful staff, and out in the countryside.

A wonderful stay
I was very pleased with the Munich Airport Marriott. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being in Germany for the first time, the potential communication barrier was a concern of mine. It was no problem at all!! The hotel was very clean and well kept. The quality of service was very high. The town of Freising, in which the hotel is located, is charming to say the least. The train station is within a very pleasant walking distance. I highly recommend this property to any traveler.

The Tagblatt restaurant is within close walking distance...great food and service. The Bahn (train)station is also within a close walking distance.

Nice Hotel
A very nice & clean hotel. It was in a wonderful location to walk into their cute village. It was not as close to the airport as we thought it would be. We had to take a shuttle that I thought was N/C but cost @$15.00 USD; otherwise was very nice!!!
