Good Staff, need menities
Basically, clean and nice, however, needs some improvement. A/C was not working, pillow was not comfortable. It was average value not 4 stars value.

It was convenient to be steps from the train station. The room was fine. The window sill was filthy. I found that unusual. The room was comfortable. It was stuffy so we needed to open the windows. Thanks heavens we could do that, but the noise of the yelling drunks at the train station almost all night forced us to close the windows again. It's next to the train station and just outside of the Altstadt, so very convenient for a visit.

Great location, 1 block from the train station; walking distance to shops, food, and most POIs. The rooms are very clean and functional; housekeeping was also good an reliable. The breakfast buffet was very nice; good variety, though a bit on the expensive side (18E). Service and staff was good and friendly. High speed internet access and phone charges to the US were excessive (.30E/min HSI; 4.00E/min phone). 6% charge to exchange money at the front desk.

Ok for one night...nothing outstanding
The hotel is clean and is located at a good location (right across from Main Train Station). However, for our stay the AC did not work and our room was very noisy. The pool was not usable.

Ich hatte Zimmer inclusive Frühstück
Ich hatte Zimmer inclusive Frühstück gebucht, was beim check in bestätigt wurde,doch beim check out sollte ich nachzahlen.nach bösem hin und her, unprofessionalität seitens der Rezeption,konnte ich nur durch diese zahlung das hotel verlassen. 18euro für ein Stink normales frühstück pro pers.hätte ich mir lieber erspart und wäre in Freiburg in eines der heimeligen Cafés gegangen. Ergo, was abends an der Rezeption gilt, muss noch lange nicht am Vormittag gelten - so nicht!!!!
