Family-owned downtown Frankfurt hotel with sauna, pool

The Savoy Hotel is located just a few blocks from the Hauptbahnhof station in downtown Frankfurt. The property boasts a sauna, swimming pool, Swedish solarium and steam room, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center. Accommodations are modest but perfectly efficient -- spacious work desks are a nice touch for business travelers. Piano, the on-site restaurant, serves breakfast daily (fees apply), and opens a bar at night for cocktails and beer.

Expensive hotel

Hotel correspond 4 stars, but the price is too high. Also the breakfast is not calculated to the price. The good thing is that they have shower that you can use before 14.00.

Overnight Stay

This hotel is a great deal for the price. Perfect location to use as a start/end point to see the area. Rooms are small but good if all you are doing is sleeping there. Breakfast Buffet was nice but a little pricey. Definetely recommend to others and would stay there again.

Bare bones but good value

Very thrifty and no frills but good value with good location for the budget-tight business traveler. Across street from main station. Wifi for a charge was reliable but a bit slow. Near red lights district so I personally would not recommend for families but not dangerous in my experience.

Not bad for the price

Hotel was decent and a great value. Location rocked and easy train ride to airport.

Just ok

Hotel was good value. However, the main reason I can not give it a better than average rating is because the hotel room did not have air conditioning. It was very warm. I opened the window to help but the noise kept me awake during the night.

Great Location and clean

We have to say that we got lucky when we decide to stay in this hotel, great location, the people and the treatment was numer one. We are really happy with this Hotel. We are going to stay again

Smart choice

Great for 1-2 nights stay, hotel positioned extremely convenient for short visit . If you visit in summer room with AC a must, it's just extra 10 euro.

Simple clean hotel and room.

Hotel is right in front of a small park, and is only a few blocks away from the main Frankfurt station. I came with only the address, no directions or knowledge of German, and was able to find it with minimal trouble. The room was well lit, full shower and bath, and a comfy dorm sized bed (a little short for me at 6'4''/1.9m but no worries). Plenty of seating and table space was quite useful. The staff was kind, allowing me to check out a little late without paying a fee, and the lobby had a nice soda water dispenser. I was only here for a night before I went off to stay in a hostel, but I had no complaints.

Convenient

Convenient location across the street from Frankfurt Hbf / Some rooms don't have A/C and can get warm in the summer.
