Modern art lovers paradise in Frankfurt

Modern art and architecture characterize Roomers, a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Frankfurt. Artwork appears everywhere in the property -- even the outdoor furniture looks like sculptures. The seductive atmosphere entices with state-of-the-art technology and superior comfort: a private loft offers multiple rain showers, a sauna, wine fridge, Minnoti playground and dining table for 14.

Highlights
  • Illuminated glass dome roof features three conference rooms with views of the banking district
  • Biorhythm spa features a Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam bath

Roomers has won numerous awards, including "Best Hotel Property 2010" from HotelForum and "Best Bar Team 2010" by Mixology magazine. Edgy business travelers will be impressed by the kitted out, chic business rooms featuring groovy bucket seats and a retro-futuristic look.

Very Cool hotel

Beautiful design, chic, modern. Close to the Hauptbahnhof (5 minute walk) so very convenient to get to airport and to all subways etc. Love the bar (open till 4AM, and allows smoking). Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food. But love this hotel; it's now the only place I'll stay when visiting Frankfurt.

Better than expected

I was in Frankfurt for a concert at the Festhalle and chose this hotel because of the location. It is a 5 minute walk to the main train station and 10 minute walk to the Festhalle. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very polite and helpful. they offer valet parking and free access to their beautiful gym. They also have a very fancy bar and a great free breakfast. the rooms are beautiful and modern with a king size bed, flat screen and free wireless. The shower is the best part of it all. Will definetly be staying there again.

Expensive but worthwhile

Every hotel in Frankfurt triples the prices during fairtime, but this is the first time I felt that I got real quality in return. The room seems dark at the begining but it has a first world lihting control that can let you make it very enlighted. Location is terrific, walking distance from the train stattion, fair, and the river at one block is a good place for jogging.

Roomers was great

The hotel staff was very accomodating and the spa that we had access to was incredible. It had a sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, water massage table, and hot rock beds to lay on. The spa and breakfast were included which was nice and the hotel was maybe a 1/4 mile walk from down town. The design of the hotel was really cool and modern, something straight out of a james bond movie. This hotel is well worth the money

Don't say you weren't warned

I loved this hotel, and stayed there because we had a great deal [...] I would definitely stay here again, BUT, I read the previous reviews about how dark the hotel rooms are and didn't take them as seriously as I should have. For a woman business traveler who needs to apply make up, it is a serious problem. The hotel-provided make up mirrors are still insufficient. the lighting "schemes" are all pre-programmed and it's impossible to get enough light in the room to dress, read, etc. The hotel has clearly decided that chic design is more important than practicality. That's fine for the lobby. For the rooms, it's too dark.

Cool little hotel, very convenient

A friend recommended this hotel to me. VERY convenient location, 2 blocks from the train station. Very cool "rock-star" syle decor, and a nice little relaxation/spa area on the roof- perfect city view at sunset. Downstairs bar had GREAT cocktails (was a bit of a scene of business men with Ferraris & the women who love them, but still very cool). Drinks were expensive, but worth it. Lighting in the rooms was a little too dark- would have liked it brighter when I was doing my makeup.

Not your usual hotel

We went for a 2-week vacation and wanted a 5-star hotel and received an okay deal at Roomers. It was very swanky, upscale, but a little pretentious for our taste. Our room was very dark and it was difficult to apply makeup. They provided a small, lighted, hand-held mirror, but it was insufficient and inconvenient. The hotel was one of the cleanest we've stayed in and they were accommodating to our request for having all feather bedding removed because of allergies, and to early check-in (greatly appreciated after a 15-hour trip in coach). We do prefer the feel and the atmosphere of a traditional 5-star hotel (like the Intercontinental) though. At the end of a long day of sightseeing we like to go back to a welcoming, relaxing environment and for us, this hotel just didn't provide that. It has a nightclub atmosphere. We did not like the fact that we had to buy toilet paper once because it didn't get replaced for a couple of days. We did call housekeeping before we went to buy some, but no one answered. This isn't acceptable for any hotel, but certainly not a 5-star hotel.

roomers

Hotel is really one of a kind 5 star boutique hotel, fantastic service and a great bar open till ???? We came to frankfurt for a early business meeting and went a day earlier so not to travel in the morning from amsterdam by car. Hotel is a great experience outstanding service, even when you check in late at night. When we compare this to other one day trips we made we can just say it is more then wurth the money and a complete new experience. One negative note. do not take a streetside room. when you open the blinds in the morning you have the idea that everybody from the street looks into you room.
