Certainly NOT 4-Star

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that, I would rate it 1 or 2 star at the most. Bathroom fittings falling off. Noisey with traffic and late night/early morning revelry.

Problems with reservation, 2 single rooms reserved - 1 double room arranged (explanation water damage). Anyway considering price Minerva hotel is O.K.

From the outside, the Minerva

From the outside, the Minerva Hotel Frankfurt presents very poorly because it has a carpark and an vacant block next door. It's not the kind of place where one, particularly a woman, would feel safe at night. The rooms are quite small and the shower is tiny, however, they are very clean. Breakfast is OK. Other hotels near Central Station offer more for the same tariff.

Die Minibar im Zimmer war leer

Die Minibar im Zimmer war leer (ein Getränkeangebot im Zimmer ist Voraussetzung für 4 Sterne). Rezeption war nicht besetzt. frühstücksbuffet war bereits um 8:30 abgegessen, keine Brötchen. Personal im Frühstücksraum spricht nicht deutsch.

Die unmittelbare Lage am Hauptbahnhof

Die unmittelbare Lage am Hauptbahnhof war fuer uns sehr praktisch, weil wir am fruehen Morgen den Zug nehmen mussten. Sauberkeit okay, Zimmer in Ordnung, jedoch auf keinen Fall ein Drei-Sterne-Hotel und schon gar nicht die 100Euro pro Nacht wert.
