Very nice hotel. Easy to find
Very nice hotel. Easy to find and tramstop (line 11) just 50 meters from the hotel. Opprox 15 minutes tram ride from main train station. Terrible Internet connection. Good breakfast, but overpriced.

Excellent hideaway from busy life
Nice boutique hotel, with great atmosphere. Conveniently close to all public transportation stops. About 15 minutes of fast-paced walk to Zeil and City Center , but it still feels a little far out. The walk is not particularly exceptional and you do need to pass some strange parts of industrial / residential areas. However, being from NYC – I felt right at home. Hotel staff was wonderful, very friendly & helpful. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel right at home. Rooms are clean, cozy-small and bedding is very comfortable. I enjoyed my one week stay with only one negative comment: I was there in early December and although it was cool outside, the hotel rooms did not have adequate mechanical ventilation and often it was hot and uncomfortably stuffy inside the room. The windows were operable but I can see how it could be a problem for some guests when they open the window and endure the noise from the street and people talking and smoking below their windows. The breakfast is good and is served in the hotel for 15 Euros/PP, but for a cheaper alternative the bakery is next door and a Mega-Supermarket is 2 blocks away with it's own coffee shop and excellent selection of anything that you can imagine. There are few small good eateries nearby as well. I recommend this hotel and I can see myself coming back to stay there again.

Frustrated in Frankfurt
Goldman?...Never Again!!
The Hotel is a bit of a Tram ride from the train station so don't try to walk it. Arriving at the airport, train into town and then the tram makes for a longish day. The room had a deep pile rug which may have contributed to our itching the next morning. Partner and I compared bites while going down the elevator to the lobby. This hotel caters to the youth crowd and offers discounts (the have a special YOUNG RATE) to those under 30 years of age. Very discriminatory but this appears to be their target audience and I was not appreciative of this practice. I discovered this rate during our stay which made it particularly distasteful. If you wish to use the wireless be prepared with multiple browsers. I could not log on with IE or Firefox, but luckily had both Chrome and Safari to allow sign-in and then accessed my usual browser favorites from there on. It appears that the hotel's sign-in wanted to constantly load tracking cookies onto my laptop (a non Apple). This appeared to be an attempt to discover my surfing habits which caused my firewall's software overly diligent attempts to block access to the hotel's log in screen. This required several browsers and tweaking of my laptop security to defeat it. If you require connectivity I would say that you should plan on using the one free Apple in the "living room" just off the lobby. We had to sleep with our window open due the the warmth of the room. There are multiple busy railroad tracks about 400 yards from the back of the hotel so sleeping is a "concession". You have your choice of quiet and hot, or cool and noisy...my partner was not pleased. Everything in the room had a price tag. It was like sleeping in an IKEA showroom without the foot traffic. I kept being reminded of Mel Brook's "Merchandising" comments during our short stay. I did not stay there to shop for, or be told the price of...the wall-paper. Since we both require connectivity and dislike having to compete with the hotel's system as opposed to just logging on with a semblance of privacy...and we dislike the perceived and real discrimination of being over 30, and we dislike the constant, multiple "merchandising" pitches in our room...we won't be staying with this entire chain again. But we will continue to wear our Levis.

Short walk from hotel
There is a wonderful wurst place just across the street. They have been winning awards since 1905 and it is highly recommended if you are a fan. The hotel's best feature is it's proximity to this small stand up diner.

Schade.
