Boutique hotel near the airport with free shuttle service
The carathotel Frankfurt Airport is located minutes from the Frankfurt Airport, and offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the main terminals. The boutique property features a continental breakfast buffet (fees apply), as well as covered parking for long-term stays (fees apply). Overnite stay waiting for plane
Staff was exceptionally helpful. Airport shuttle a huge PLUS (both ways). Shopping Mall close-by. A bit disappointed that the restaurant didn not cater German food for dinner - walked 30 minutes to a Geman Gasthaus. Room was very clean but tiny.

My choice for future trips
Location a few miles from the airport was great, although the GPS was essential to find it. Staff provided every favor I asked. Would have liked the coffee machine in the lobby to be free rather than 2 euros. As an American, I appreciated the English language stations, although they were all news. Any entertainment channels?

Heater didn't work on very cold night. Manager ignored requests to talk!
My wife got a cold because heater didn't work. Requested to talk to the manager who never called. Upon checkout, front desk lady said she was not there. Within a minute, manager (Mrs. Rittigh), walked within 3 meters of us. They called her by name- she ignored. I called her again by name- she ignored and pretended she didn't hear us calling her. Behavior was more ridiculous than experience with heater. Also, hotel is advertised as an "airport hotel". They claim it is close to the airport. We booked thinking we were going to save time by staying there but realized it was faster to get to the airport from the Frankfurt city center by train. This hotel is over-advertised.

Great value hotel
The staff was very freindly , helpful and accomadating . The room itself was small ordinary but clean and an adequate space . Overall a good experience and a great value . I would reccomend it to someone who was on a budget and needed to save some money .

Short walk from hotel
Hotel was very close to grocery store , mini mart , restaraunts - a nice area . A 15 minuite walk to the train station into downtown franfurt . The hotel was a 10 - 15 minuite drive to the airport but far enough away that you didn't hear jets / plane or any airport noise.

don't drink
drinks leave bad taste in mouth
basically had a good experience. my only complain is at checking out i was told i had to pay for the sodas i drank from the fridge in my room. i thought they were complimentary. they explained there was a price list in the room. i told them i came in late and did not see or read anything because i don't speak their language. they should explain to the guest they have to pay for the drinks in the room because i have slept in many hotel rooms with complimentary drink

Ok for overnight, not for extended stay, unless you have a car.
Hotel location is in an industrial park, not close to anythying. Shuttle bus service from airport during the day is hourly only, half hour mornings and evenings. Long walk to RR station. I had a single, which is adequate, but a bit tight. Breakfast was good.
