Very Friendly Staff
The`Treff Hansa hotel is a great value. The room was very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and very proffessional. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I will stay again next time I come.

Clean and Friendly but small
The hotel was clean and the staff was frienly. The ameneties that were offered were top nice. As far as the room goes, it was a double occupancy, but it was hard for two adults to move around the room unless one was in the bathroom or in the bed. The price of the room made up for it. Good for people who travel light.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Old town is a nice area to go shopping. There are some great local shops to check out. I suggest keeping track of the bus and train numbers you take in order to get back. Public transportation can get very expensive when you take unecessary rides.

Clean and friendly
The Treff Hansa Dusseldorf/Mettman has a very helpful and friendly check in staff. The beds were comfortable with clean white duvets everyday. Lots of hanging space for clothes, a small table and desk with chairs. The bathroom was spacious with a large bathtub/shower. One large window opened either a small amount from the top or wider from the side. The days when it was very warm out, the room would be stuffy without the window wide open. There didn't seem to be an air conditioner. But most of the days had some rain to cool off with. The breakfast that came with the room reservation was plentiful, but not varied day to day. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, yogurts, meats and breads. It was easy to enjoy either an American breakfast or a German breakfast or both. The location was easy to find and very centrally located for touring in and around the Dusseldorf/Rhine area. We would gladly stay here again.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
The old town center is a short drive or nice walk from the hotel. The cobblestone pedestrian way is a delight with small shops, church, bakeries, ice cream and great scenery. Day trips away from Dusseldorf are endless and miss the rush hour traffic heading into the main city. A large market is around the corner from the hotel.
