A cosy city hotel with individual flair - where guests don't have to do without their usual comforts or personal wellness program. It's a true home away from home in the heart of Duesseldorf. Quiet yet central, near commercial and cultural center and "K". 3 km from railway station and fair grounds, 5 km from airport.

Good food, comfortable room, great staff

I stayed here during the giant Drupa trade show, so prices were a bit inflated. However, the normal rate seems quite reasonable for business or pleasure travelers. Though not in a tourist area, the U-Bahn (subway) is just around the corner, making a two-stop ten minute journey to the Altstadt. The breakfast was good but pricy. I don't know if the 20 euro charge was for the trade show or is a permanent policy. There are many alternatives in this quiet resin trial neighborhood - a super market is only steps away, as is a Starbucks. There are about a dozen or so good eating places within a five minute walk. However, the hotel restaurant is quite good. I was there during Spargelzeit (white asparagus season) and the dinners were exquisite.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The best chocolate truffles I ever tasted are directly across the street at Chocolatier Kuhlen. NOT TO BE MISSED!
