This family-run; 2-star hotel offers comfortable accommodation in the central Friedrichstadt district of Duesseldorf. It lies just a few steps away from the Duesseldorf Arcaden shopping centre and local tram services. The rooms of the Hotel Metropol come well-equipped with shower or bath; a hairdryer; WC; direct dial phone; Satellite TV; Internet Access-fees apply and some feature a private balcony. Look forward to a tasty; complimentary breakfast each morning before setting out to explore the city. A short; 8-minute tram ride will bring you directly to the Old Town centre and Koenigsallee shopping boulevard. Relax with a drink in the Metropols bar at the end of an enjoyable day. Parking is available at a charge and on request. Additional Information: Children aged 7 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.

expensive, plus you get nickle and dimed

Small room, small bed, tiny bathroom, small everything, but all clean and sufficient if all you want is a place to sleep at night. Had to pay for wifi and breakfast. Very near public transportation. Not a good value. Stay somewhere farther from the city center and pay a lot less - this wasn't worth it.

decent place for your money

This is a good mid-grade hotel that you can be farely comfortable in. It is close to public transportation, but you have to pay for internet. Overall good decent place- the staff is friendly enough
