nice overnight during long, long layover

didn't ever plan on going to düsseldorf but found myself there and relaxed wholeheartedly in my littel room. bed was super comfortable and there was a little balcony. the breakfast was pretty good, coffee was eh, but a nice spread nonetheless and the staff was as nice as could be, printing me out googlemaps of how to get to my destination and giving me directions to the U-Bahn and the old city. pretty good location because it was in-between the old city (15 min) and the airport (30 min) so it suited my needs. the only issue was that i booked my stay in dollars and then they made me pay the same numerical amount in euros but that is something i will take up with this website's customer service.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

if you turn right out of the hotel and continue to the intersection there is the funniest little convenience store with a terrace, newspapers, hygienic products, dirty mags, international publications, and fresh baked rolls with a really cute guy behind the register.
