Unbelieveable location for the price
The Westin was close enough to take a nice walk to the train or over the bridge to great night life. Ate great meals at the hotel, but also had great meals at Applause and Ontario.

In Hotel
Use the Currency Exchange service at the hotel... comparable to the few banks that we found to exchange Dollars into Euros. Also was helped with the train schedule for daily trips to Leipzig.

Not good for the $$
The hotel is in an older building which isn't a big deal but we were expecting more since we reserved a deluxe room, the description said we would have a garden view but our view was of a roof top. It was also small, the bed was hard, and the furnishings were bland...the rest of the hotel is very nice but the rooms are more like 3 star not 4. The pool said heated on the website but it was quite cold and not as nice as it looks in the picture. Be aware if you bring your pet that it is an extra 30 euro a night for your furry friend!! The hotel is in a good location, close to shopping and some great restaurants, and they do offer valet service but we decided not to use it after realizing that it's 16 euro a day just to park your car there. Also, they do not offer continental breakfast, it's an extra 20 euro or 15 if you tell them when you check in. Over all it wasn't so bad but definitely was not worth the cost!! Dont waste your time or money...choose another hotel. That being said, the city of Dresden is amazing!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were excellent and could not be more friendly or helpful. We would certainly go again. One word of warning The cost of parking overnight and breakfast far exceeded any other we have encountered in Germany and this additional charging appears to be a growing trend. Be warned

First Class operation!
The hotel is located close to the city center. The condition of the Westin Bellevue is spotless. It has everything that you will need for a reasonable price. I would recommend it to all of my friends!

Optimale Lage
Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, den berühmten "Canaletto-Blick" hat man direkt vom eigenen Fenster aus... In 10 Minuten ist man sozusagen überall, sowohl in der Altstadt wie auch im neuen Viertel, wo das Hotel direkt an der Elbe liegt; alle Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption sind entzückend und bestens informiert. Die Preise für den hauseigenen Parkplatz sind eindeutig überhöht (€16,-/Tag), das zu Fuss problemlos erreichbare öffentliche Parkhaus "Theresienstrasse" verlangt für 3 Tage €23,-
