Hidden gem near the city
We stayed for 2 nights intent on seeing as much of Dresden as we could squeeze in a winter day (while travelling with a 2 year-old). Although the hotel's location was about 5 miles away from Dresden's zentrum, (not a problem since we had our own car,) this hotel's quality more than made up for that drawback by exceeding our expectations on room quality, price, and breakfast. Room was clean, modern, and spacious. Since I'm unable to mention cost, I'll say it was lower than your the typical IBIS's and ETAP's we've previously stayed in ... but with a 4-Star quality. Next day's breakfast was more than your typical "European continental" offering warm scrambled eggs and sausage, along with a generous variety of food. The resturant/bar also had a good selection of regional specialties if one prefers not to go out for dinner. The front-desk staff spoke english, were very helpful, and friendly. We hope to get more time to see Dresden - and we'll definitely look forward to coming back to this hotel without a doubt!

Dresden's city-center was a short-drive away. Hotel is located in a very quiet suburb.

Keine Rampen, kein Fahrstuhl -
Keine Rampen, kein Fahrstuhl - vom obersten Stockwerk bis in den Frühstücksraum 4 Etagen. Bereits am Eingang sind bis zur Rezeption schon Treppenstufen zu bewältigen und dann mit den schweren Koffern in den zweiten Stock. Im Zimmer kein großer Spiegel sowie kein Kosmetikspiegel. Frühstück ist gut und reichlich. Speisekarte im Restaurant recht dürftig. Frühmorgens zwischen 6 und 7 Uhr schon Lärmbelästigung auf dem Flur durch abfahrende Reisegruppen.

Für Reisende, die noch gut zu
Für Reisende, die noch gut zu Fuß sind, kein Problem. Ältere Menschen oder Gehbehinderte haben es dort schwer. Keine Rampen und kein Fahrstuhl, vom obersten Stockwerk bis zum Frühstücksraum immerhin 4 Stockwerke.
