Stunningly designed hotel housed in a former water tower in central Cologne
Hotel Im Wasserturm, in the heart of Cologne, really is an astonishing piece of design. The water tower (Wasserturm), into which it has been built, dates from the 19th century and looks like a castle. A leading French interior designer created this astonishing hotel out of it in 1990, as part of the reclamation of the region's industrial heritage. The entrance hall alone is 11 meters high and everything about the place is on a grand scale. Pets are allowed, the hotel has conference and meeting facilities, a good restaurant and all the attractions of Cologne are practically on its doorstep.

- Gallery in duplex style with double bed created by the french Star Designer Andree Putman. The room is 50 sqm large and has wonderful view of the cologne city. Living room and marble bathroom with bathtub and WC on the ground floor. Sleeping room on the first floor, access via stairs behind a tall illuminated wall. 6 hours of Internet access and minibar soft drinks included.
- JUNIOR SUITE / MAISONETTE SUITE
- Junior Suite: 50 sqm on one floor; the corridor offers a wardrobe and access to the bathroom and leads to the living room and bedroom which are separated by a sliding door. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed with 2 mattresses. Maisonette Suite: 50 sqm on two floors; through the entrance on the lower floor you enter the corridor with a wardrobe leading to the bathroom as well as to the living room. A wrought-iron spiral staircase or stairs behind a tall illuminated wall lead to the upper floor where you will find the bedroom with a double bed as well as a second WC. 6 hours of Internet access and minibar soft drinks included.
- DELUXE - ROOM
- Inspired by the geometry of the water tower, the cylinder and circle are distinctive stylistic elements of the interior design. Blond woods contrast with the rough original brickwork, while light elements of coarsely ground glass create transparency. The Deluxe Room is 37 sqm large and consists of one bedroom with a desk and 2 lounge chairs. The bathroom with bath tub is separated from the WC area. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed with 2 mattresses.
- Maisonette Suite
- Maisonette in duplex style with double bed created by the french Star Designer Andree Putman. The room is 50 sqm large and has wonderful view of the cologne city. The bathroom offers a little extra with jaccuzzi, TV and telephone. The Suite consists of 1 bedroom with double bed as well as one bathroom on the upper floor and the living room and another WC on the lower floor. 6 hours of Internet access and minibar soft drinks included.

- Flooded with light, timeless, modern and elegant - it's not just lovers of culinary delights that wax lyrical about our restaurant "d/\blju W'". Flattering tones with accents in black and gold, accessories as small works of art ... and in the background gently flowing water as a tribute to the water tower. Besonders beeindruckend: die A
Besonders beeindruckend: die Architektur des Hotels und der Ausblick. Sehr schön der freundliche Frühstücksraum/Restaurant mit Terrasse. Einkaufszone, Altstadt oder Rhein sind in Fußnähe.
