A comfortable hotel in central Cologne, ten minutes from the cathedral

The Flandrischer Hof is an attractive and friendly hotel located on the Cologne Ring, so transport links are excellent and sights such as the cathedral are just a short walk away. The international style restaurant has live daily music and the bar was recently refurbished. There is also a lounge area where guests are able to relax and take the weight off their feet. The Flandrischer Hof has 195 rooms with all modern facilities and pets are allowed on the premises. There are also four conference rooms with full catering facilities, an on-call doctor and currency exchange service, so this hotel makes the perfect base for exploring the city and being assured of a good sleep.

This is a good, efficient hotel and all rooms come with the same high standards of facilities and service, with guest convenience and comfort being uppermost in mind when they were designed and furnished. The basic standard rooms have a comfortable double bed with plush cushions and cover of white cotton, a small table and chair and also a desk with lamp against the opposite wall. On a table next to the floor to ceiling window is a TV with satellite channels, while for an extra charge guests are able to access in-room high-speed Wi-Fi. The rooms also have a telephone with voicemail and the shower and WC are in an en suite bathroom. The business rooms are very similar, but come with a number of extra services, whilst the superior rooms have a parquet floor as opposed to carpets and there is a separate sitting area, along with coffee and tea-making equipment. The suites feature spacious areas spread over two floors and have a marble bathroom, two satellite TVs and separate living and sleeping quarters, with a walk-in closet. The decoration in all rooms and suites is light blues and yellows for warmth and serenity.

Good hotel in a good location.

Good hotel in a good location. Rooms were a little on the small side but this didn't matter as we only stayed for one night. The bathroom in my room was very old and in need of an update. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel was well located for

The hotel was well located for the Christmas Markets. We found the service to be good. There was a large variety at breakfast.

Spacious rooms, very clean, good service, lots of facilities, quiet hotel (although do expect some traffic noise when the room is located at the backside where the ring and the shops are, nothing too much though)

good budget hotel

Staff very friendly , room was very clean . location was very good close to restaurants/bars/shopping , 20 min walk to cathedral/old town/river. Room was on the small sze and got quite hot , i would recommend upgrading to the business room which i saw and had much more room than the standard one. room was quiet though. didn't use the piano bar/restaurant so can't comment . no wifi in rooms and is charged for in lobby so go to starbucks (there are many close by) have a coffee and have free wifi. overall a good budget hotel a good 3star hotel.

Good Room for a Decent Price

We went for the XMas markets, good location for a good price. Parking was available for 14 euro a day, we missed the street to the structure and just opted to use a public structure not far away for 17 euro a day. On a side note, if you go during the XMas markets, avoid rush hour like the plague. We drove from near Frankfurt to Koeln in 2 hours and spent an *additional* 1 hour to make the last 3km across the bridge.

Difficulté pour ce connecter à

Difficulté pour ce connecter à Internet, pas de connections en wifi dans les chambres. le parking est en suplément. le personnel est très efficace il leur manque juste un petit sourire.
