Free breakfast and an airport shuttle in the center of Cologne

The hotel is well located. Found
The hotel is well located. Found the room old fashioned. The bed was too small for two people to fit in and the tv was not located at the bottom of the bed. Only side ways which makes for awkward viewing.

Great price and great location
This was probably the friendliest, most courteous staff I have ever met. I spent 6 nights and they knew me by the 2d day by name and room number including breakfast attendent. Great free breakfast, probably worth $15-20 in itself. The Orbitz price was $40 below the price on site. Only a bit noisy because I stayed there during the European soccer cup and all the nightlife was right there.

Okay but Noisy
This hotel was inexpensive but it was very noisy. The hotel is located at a city construction site where the workers start at 6:45am and the local bars are lively until 1:30 am or so. Since the weather was very hot, we needed to keep the windows open and could not get much sleep. The hotel website said the the hotel had a pool, but the pool was actually a public pool located several blocks away. We had two rooms and in neither did the mini-bars work at all - a paricular annoyance because of the heat. Breakfast was very good and the neighborhood (Alt Stadt) was a lot of fun. May consider staying there again but only in the cooler seasons.

Short walk from hotel
Easy walk from Main train station. We went to Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, and Salzburg and the shopping in Cologne was the BEST -- lower prices and great selection, especially around the train station. The best resturant is Mulzmueller Brewery in Hay Market - the best Kolsh Beer and tastiest food with all the Kolsh cheerfulness.
