THIS SUPERIOR TOURIST HOTEL HAS 20 MODERN EQUIPPED ROOMS LOCATED WITHIN A SPORT CENTER AND ONLY 7KM FROM COLOGNE CITY CENTER AND THE FAIRGROUND. THE HOTEL SERVES A BUFFET BREAKFAST AND THERE IS A SPORT BAR FROM WHERE SOME OF THE INDOOR SPORTING EVENT: BEACH BALL - TENNIS - HANDBALL - VOLLEYBALL - BADMINGTON - INDOOR SOCCER - SKITTLE ALLEYS CAN BE WATCHED. NEXT TO THE HOTEL THERE IS A CONNECTED CHARMING RESTAURANT PROVIDING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPECIALTIES. A SEPARATE ROOM CAN BE USED FOR MEETINGS, PRESENTATIONS, MEALFUNCTIONS. The hotel is not signposted and difficult to find at night. There is only an automat for check-in and this is not acceptable for the price. We could not get extra pillows for my wife's medical needs. There were no tea/coffee making facilitiies in the room. The telephone number given for problems/emergencies was connected to an answering machine. Hot food on the breakfast buffet was cold as the candles under the hot water had not been lit. The cornflakes were tasteless. The room was large and clean and comfortable. However, we asked for a non-smoking room but there was a residue of smoke which was not covered up by the room being sprayed. It is a shame that there was so many small things to complain about as the hotel could be great with a little more care.

this hotel is some 15km away from

this hotel is some 15km away from the city center, at a location that has nothing around to see. one has to ride a taxi fro 25 EUR to go to Cologne donwtown area. Rooms are spatious, clean, but lack any service. For the price one can get smaller hotel room, but much closer to the downtown area. Alltogether a very unpleasant stay.

Nice hotel, big clean room, friendly

Nice hotel, big clean room, friendly staff, good price. A little far from Cologne center, half an hour by tram with 5 min. walk to tram station.
