Stimulating city break
This was a good value city break close to transport, Checkpoint Charlie and various museums. The hotel was without frills but did the job.

Short walk from hotel
Enjoyed meals at three nearby restaurants which hotel staff told us were close by: Spanish, Italian and a steak house, all excellent value for money.

Good place to stay in Berlin
If you need a good place to sleep & go see Berlin, this is a good option. Resturant did not serve anything after lunch. Close to the "U" (subway) at Checkpoint Charlie.

perfect hotel for a city break
It was the second time that I have visited Berlin. It's a perfect hotel for a city break. Hotel is very close to next underground station "U6 Kochstrasse" (2-3 min to walk). The Internet is for free since 2012, but therefore you have to pay more for breakfast, now 14EUR. Staff is very friendly.

Read small print of booking
The Hotel is very convenient for City Centre, close to Checkpoint Charlie and Kochstrasse Underground station on U6 line. Rooms are spotless and beds Very Comfortable. Bathroom small but well appointed. Breakfast is superb quality though location for the Hot Dishers/Toaster is at the bottom of a "U" shaped servery and can get congested whilst people wait for Toast, however worth waiting for. From booking website we were slightly mislead in thinking Breakfast was included, which it is not, but this is the only criticism we have. Our room (No 125 near Wilhelmstrasse) was a bit noisy with Traffic noise from early morning ,( we sleep with window open), but being so close to City this is probably unavoidable. Low numbered rooms would avoid this noise but all in all the Hotel was excellent.

Aamiainen, joka oli korkeintaan kohtalaista tasoa, maksoi 14€!!! Saksan hintoihin nähden todella ylihinnoiteltu. Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia. Muuten ok kokemus.

Awesome Hotel
It was in good place close to Berlin's center. Nice employees, very kind with us. The breakfast was a bit expensive. The room was clean. You have public transportation close to the hotel , it's good things for visitors. I seriously encourage people to take this hotel. Jécoco

Olin iloisesti yllättynyt siitä, että huone oli valmiina jo aamuyhdeksältä, kun saavuimme. Plussaa myös isosta kylpyammeesta ja tilavasta, siististä kylpyhuoneesta. Wifi lakkasi toimimasta jo lähtöpäivän aamuna, olisi ollut kiva, jos sitä olisi voinut käyttää uloskirjautumiseen saakka. TV-kanavat olivat tosi ankeita, englanniksi oli tarjolla vain uutisia.

Sehr nettes Hotel direkt am Checkpoint Charlie
Das Hotel ist sehr schlicht, modern und sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort geborgen. Leider ist es am Morgen etwas laut, aber was will man von der Innenstadt Berlins erwarten?! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Lediglich die Klobrillen könnten mal erneuert werden!

Tolles Hotel mit zentraler Lage
Ich war schon zum dritten Mal im Winters Hotel am Checkpoint Charlie. Das Hotel ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber, das Personal ist freundlich und das Beste finde ich die zentrale Lage des Hotels. Persönlich kann ich das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen.
