Very reasonable and comfortable
The Hotel offered apartment type rooms with kitchens - stove-refrigerator etc. These were quite nice. However, the regular rooms were not nearly so nice and these were the ones that were originally offered for the price. When I requested the apartment they were kind enough to give it for the same price (it ordinarily is more expensive).

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Shopping, including supermarkets are within walking distance but a long walk. The Hotel itself is far from downtown Berlin, and is therefore less expensive and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet.
