Conveniently-located Berlin hotel with fine dining and cigar bar
Since 1929, the Savoy Berlin has been the choice of guests who appreciate refined style and gracious hospitality. Celebrities such as Greta Garbo and Thomas Mann were regular guests. Located near the Berlin Zoo and the Kurfürstendamm, the hotel also is near many of Berlin's famous landmarks. Guests dine at the Restaurant Weinrot, enjoy drinks at the Times Bar and appreciate Cuban cigars at the Casa del Habano. - All Comfort Rooms are ca. 15-20 sq. m. and feature dark wooden furniture that forms a pleasing contrast to the soft yellow of the walls. They feature a two-line telephone, flat-screen TV with radio stations, safe and minibar. The rooms of this category have a shower/toilet. Single rooms have a single bed; double rooms have a double bed. Single and double rooms overlook the tranquil courtyard or offer views of the Theater des Westens. - The Savoy Berlin provides all necessary facilities for a successful event, conference, reception, private party or business meal. The Savoy Berlin provides two conference rooms and a salon which is connected with the restaurant Weinrot. The Gartensalon is situated on the upper ground floor, has a size of 63 sqm and can accommodate up to 60 persons. The Salon Bellevue is situated on the sixth floor, has a size of 56 sqm and can accommodate up to 30 persons. The Salon Belvedere is situated on the ground floor, has a size of approx. 85 sqm and is connected with the restaurant. It can accomodate up to 60 persons for a reception. The conference rooms all have natural daylight, can be darkened and have air-conditioning. The standard equipment includes overhead projector, projection screen, flip chart and bulletin board, all included in the respective conference room rates.

Tyylikäs, siisti hotelli, erinomaisella sijainnilla. Paljon ravintoloita ja ostospaikkoja lähellä. Tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin pääsee kätevästi sekä kävellen, että julkisilla. Erinomainen aamiainen ja palvelu.

Kannattaa mennä
Seurueessamma oli kaksi mummoa, kaksi vanhempaa ja 1,5 vuotias lapsi. Kaikki pyyntömme täytettiin tehokkaasti ja ystävällisesti. Henkilökunta oli ammattitaitoista ja miellyttävää. Ravintola oli myös mainio. Sijainti on lähellä Zoologist gardenin pysäkkiä, jostä pääsee kätevästi mihin vaan metrolla/junalla.

miellyttävää berliiniläistä charmia
Laadukas ja samalla kodikas hotelli. Tilavassa kylpyhuoneessa olisi voinut olla toimivampi suihku. Hotellissa palvelu erinomainen, samoin keskeinen yllättävän rauhallinen sijainti.

Great comfy bargain
Great classic-style hotel, we had a spacious room (with a lobby/study area), a spotless old-style bathroom incl. a bathtub, clean wall-to-wall carpet, a minibar with just enough room for couple of extra drinks, a complementary espresso machine, TV. Lack of air-conditioning drops the points ever so slightly (the temperatures outside were between +22-28 C), and I personally could've used a thicker pillow (which was requested but never arrived, I used a cushion from a comfy chair instead). A marvellous and expensive breakfast which we took the first morning. Located just around the corner from Banhof Zoo and a legendary theatre (the name escapes me but "Tanz der Vampire" was running there. For the money we paid we got more than enough. Wasn't supposed to be working, but had to use the hotel computer/internet one morning, no problem there, no waiting
