le bémol du petit déjeuner
séjour très agréable dans une chambre très confortable, le personnel de la réception est très accueillant. dommage que la salle du petit déjeuner soit aussi mal aménagée, les grandes tables ne permettent ni l'intimité ni le calme et la 2ème salle est éloignée du buffet qui reste très copieux néanmoins.

Modernes Hotel an zentraler Lage
Dieses zentral gelegene Hotel in der Nähe des Kurfürstendamms überzeugt durch seine zentrale Lage und die zwar etwas eigenwillig dunkle (besonders im Flur), aber sehr moderne Innenraumgestaltung. Wir kamen schon mitte Vormittags an und erwarteten eigentlich nicht, bereits einchecken zu können; trotzdem bekamen wir sogleich unser Zimmer. Zuerst wurde uns zwar ein falscher Raum zugewiesen: ein normales Doppelzimmer anstelle des gebuchten Appartements - dies wurde aber umgehend korrigiert. Wir hatten ein 1-Bedroom-Appartement mit Küche inkl. 2-Kochstellen-Herd, Kühlschrank, Backofen und Mikrowelle, einem grossem Esstisch, einem Sofa mit Couchtisch, 2 Flachbildfernsehern (1 im Wohnbereich, 1 im Schlafzimmer), sehr schönem Bad und darin sogar ein Waschmaschschinen/Tumbler-Kombigerät. Leider war die zwar top moderne und neue Küchen-Ausstattung sehr dürftig (nur eine einzige Stahlpfanne ohne Deckel und auch kein Wasserkocher oder Toaster, Kleinst-Abfallbehälter, Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser, Küchenutensilien und -wäsche gerade knapp ausreichend für 2 Personen), kein Geschirrspüler - bei dem bisschen Geschirr aber auch irgendwie überflüssig. Dafür in nächster Nähe 2 Lebensmittel-Läden und praktisch um die Ecke die KaDeWe-Gourmetabteilung (ein echtes Erlebnis). Somit haben wir das hauseigene Restaurant nicht in Anspruch genommen, sondern zumindest das Frühstück jeweils mit etwas Improvisation im Zimmer zubereitet. Das Hotel wird geführt durch nettes, freundliches Personal, welches zwar die organisatorischen Abläufe noch nicht ganz konsequent vereinheitlicht hat, sich aber ansonsten engagiert und freundlich der Anliegen der Gäste annimmt. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr gefallen und wir haben uns ausserordentlich wohl gefühlt. Speziell die sehr bequemen Matratzen und die ruhige Lage zum Innenhof sorgten für ungetrübten Schlafgenuss. Bei schönem, mildem Wetter dürfte allerdings von der unten gelegenen hauseigenen Cocktail-Lounge der Lärm evt. zeitweise störend wirken - dann einfach Fenster zu und Klimaanlage ein.
